COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Second Life Tennessee is an organization that strives to end human trafficking through Prevention, Policy, and Survivor Services within the lower east Tennessee region.

Our organization is looking for a Community Development Coordinator. This position is responsible for donor development, fundraising, networking, volunteer coordination, and educating within our 25 counties.

This position requires several years of fundraising experience. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, take initiative, work collaboratively, and possess outstanding organizational skills.  For the Community Development Coordinator, donor relationships and engagement is essential. Attending community events, serving as the media liaison, and speaking publicly are requirements of the Community Development Coordinator.

The position is 50% funded by the Victims of Crimes Act (VOCA) Grant. This Community Outreach Coordinator will work closely with both the Program Director, Program Coordinator, and the CEO. Regular trainings pertaining to human trafficking, trauma, and self-care will be given as well as a company vehicle for use across the 25 county region.

Degree Requirements: Bachelors or Masters in Fundraising, Philanthropic Studies, Business, Communications, Public Relations or a related field

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $36,000/year
